VOTE! Illustrator Matt Dorfman’s amazing poster for the AIGA

Matt Dorfman's Vote poster for AIGA

November seems like light years away. However, it’s swiftly encroaching on the last smidgen of summer. It’s time to think about voting. Don’t forget to register if you just moved! We just remembered…fheww.

I’m totally enamoured with Matt Dorfman‘s incredible Vote poster for the AIGA. His brilliant concept was to surround the word vote with people’s excuses for not voting. Here’s his other incredible work.

Here’s why Matt made this poster:

“AIGA invites designers from across the United States to create nonpartisan posters—and YouTube submissions—that inspire the American public to participate in the electoral process and vote for a presidential candidate in the 2008 general election.”

I’ve been a huge fan of Matt’s work since he was an illustration major a couple of years ahead of me in college.

Here are the other posters that were selected to be printed and distributed.
